CLOUD NINE

Double sculpture.

I discovered a young couple at the Venice Biennale 2018, that was laying intertwined on a giant cushion in a lounge area outside. The young woman had her hand partially plastered and a bunch on wild flowers stuck out of the plastered vase of her index finger and the man was asleep holding her hand…It was such a poetic image that I secretly drew a sketch to remember it.
